FAFSA Information

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is a critical step for students planning to pursue college, career, or technical education after high school. By completing the FAFSA, students may qualify for federal grants, work-study programs, and student loans to help cover tuition, books, housing, and other education-related expenses.

Why Complete the FAFSA?
Many colleges, technical schools, and scholarship providers use FAFSA information to determine financial aid eligibility. Even if you think you may not qualify for federal aid, completing the FAFSA can open doors to additional state and institutional funding opportunities.

How to Apply:
Visit studentaid.gov to complete your application. The form is free and available online. Submitting it as early as possible increases your chances of receiving the maximum amount of aid.
