All students at Herndon Career Center have the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and skill development through the Skills USA Organization.  Skills USA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce.

The mission of HOSA is to empower future health professionals to become leaders in the global health community through education, collaboration and experience. Students enrolled in health science programs can compete, attend conferences, work on service projects and apply for scholarships.

FCCLA is the nation’s #1 career preparation and workforce readiness organization for students pursuing careers in Education and Training, Hospitality and Tourism, Arts and Design, Personal Finance, Human Services, and Public Service through Family and Consumer Sciences education.
